For Authors
Author Guidelines & Submission Requirements
The International Journal of Bio Sciences and Chemistry welcomes original scholarly contributions from researchers, academicians, faculty members, doctoral scholars, students, laboratory professionals, and other members of the scientific community whose work falls within the journal's aims and scope.
Authors are invited to submit manuscripts presenting original research, scholarly reviews, case studies, short communications, perspectives, and other appropriate scientific contributions in biological sciences, chemistry, and related interdisciplinary fields.
Before You Submit
Before submitting a manuscript, authors should carefully review the relevant journal requirements and confirm that:
Manuscript Types
The International Journal of Bio Sciences and Chemistry considers the following types of scholarly manuscripts.
Preparing Your Manuscript
Manuscripts should be prepared in accordance with the journal's Author Guidelines. Submissions should be clearly organized, appropriately formatted, and written in clear academic English.
Scientific manuscripts should provide sufficient methodological detail to support the evaluation and interpretation of the reported findings. Where applicable, authors should describe experimental procedures, materials, equipment, analytical methods, statistical techniques, and relevant limitations.
Research involving biological samples, microorganisms, laboratory animals, human participants, chemicals, or genetically modified materials should include appropriate ethical, safety, and regulatory information where required.
Where the journal's double-blind peer-review process applies, authors should ensure that identifying information is removed from the manuscript and that the submitted files are prepared in accordance with the journal's peer-review requirements.
Originality & Similarity
The International Journal of Bio Sciences and Chemistry expects every submitted manuscript to represent original scientific work.
Submitted manuscripts may undergo similarity checking as part of the editorial screening process. Similarity results are assessed in context and are not treated as an automatic pass-or-fail measure.
Where significant or inappropriate similarity is identified, authors may be asked to revise, clarify, or appropriately attribute the relevant material. Depending on the nature and severity of the issue, the manuscript may be declined in accordance with the journal's policies.
Authorship
All individuals listed as authors should have made appropriate scholarly contributions to the manuscript and should approve the final version submitted to the International Journal of Bio Sciences and Chemistry.
The corresponding author is responsible for coordinating communication with the journal and confirming that all authors agree to the submission.
Authors should also review the journal's Authorship and Contributorship Policy before submission.
Ethical & Responsible Research
Authors are expected to comply with applicable standards of research and publication ethics.
Depending on the nature of the research, authors may be required to provide information regarding:
- Research ethics approval and institutional permissions
- Informed consent and participant confidentiality
- Animal welfare and relevant animal ethics approval
- Biosafety and the responsible handling of biological materials and chemicals
- Conflicts of interest
- Funding and sources of research support
- Data availability and supporting research materials
- Third-party permissions and intellectual property
- Use of artificial intelligence tools
- Clinical trial registration, where applicable
- Other relevant research or publication declarations
Authors remain responsible for the accuracy, integrity, originality, reproducibility, and ethical presentation of their submitted work.
Submission & Peer Review
Manuscripts submitted to the International Journal of Bio Sciences and Chemistry undergo an initial editorial screening to determine whether they meet the journal's basic requirements and are suitable for further consideration.
Manuscripts that meet the journal's editorial requirements may proceed to external peer review in accordance with the journal's Peer Review Policy. Where the double-blind review model applies, identifying information is withheld from reviewers and authors in accordance with the applicable procedure.
Authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts in response to editorial or reviewer comments. Where revisions are requested, authors should submit the revised manuscript together with a clear response to the comments received.
The final publication decision is made by the editorial team based on the overall assessment of the manuscript, its scientific merit, ethical compliance, and the applicable journal policies.
