International Journal of Bio Sciences and Chemistry

The International Journal of Bio Sciences and Chemistry is committed to the long-term preservation and continued accessibility of its published scholarly content.

Digital Preservation

The journal aims to preserve published articles, the Version of Record, DOI information, and associated publication metadata. Published content is maintained on the journal's official website, with appropriate backup and preservation measures intended to support continued access and protect the integrity of the scholarly record.

PKP Preservation Network

Where participation is established, the International Journal of Bio Sciences and Chemistry may use the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), a free, LOCKSS-based digital preservation service for eligible journals using Open Journal Systems (OJS).

Participation in this network can help preserve published journal content and support its continued accessibility if the journal's website becomes temporarily or permanently unavailable, subject to the network's applicable requirements and preservation arrangements.

Preservation of the Published Record

The journal aims to preserve the published Version of Record and its associated metadata.

Where an article is corrected or retracted, the publication record will be maintained in accordance with the journal's Corrections and Retractions Policy, preserving appropriate links between the original article and any subsequent editorial notices.

If the Journal Ceases Publication

If the International Journal of Bio Sciences and Chemistry ceases publication, the journal will make reasonable efforts to maintain access to previously published content through its established digital preservation and archiving arrangements, subject to applicable technical and contractual requirements.

The continued availability of previously published articles will depend on the preservation services and arrangements actually in place at that time.
